Industry Training Specialists

Andre is a highly respected in the refrigeration and air-conditioning industry, with decades of hands-on experience ranging from domestic and commercial, right through to industrial refrigeration. He has worked in multiple countries on various types of equipment and has been involved with training many apprentices and technicians over the years. Andre has previously owned his own companies back in Zimbabwe as well as here in New Zealand, Andre brings expertise in hydrocarbons, CO₂, NH₃, and other refrigerant systems.

Always proud to be a fridgie, Matt has many years of industry experience. After years on the tools and in the sales arena, Matt developed a deep passion for technical training. This grew into a role as Senior Lecturer in Refrigeration, Air-Conditioning, and Electrical at MIT, then to Area Training Manager at Black Diamond Technologies. He has also supported training via the industry body, IRHACE for many years. An area of interest in compliance and safety led him to become a WorkSafe Compliance Certifier for refrigerants. Matt’s goal in training is to set technicians up for success in a Refrigeration and HVAC career.

A long-standing figure in the New Zealand HVAC&R industry. Paul has a long history of HVAC system product development, system design and product sales. Paul has a keen interest in industry standards and has recently been appointed to the national standards committee for the industry. He has also served several terms on the national council of IRHACE.
